A Comparative Study among New Hybrid Root Finding Algorithms and Traditional Methods

In this paper, we propose a novel blended algorithm that has the advantages of trisection method and false position method. Numerical results indicate proposed outperforms secant, trisection, Newton–Raphson, bisection regula falsi methods, as well hybrid last two methods by Sabharwal, with regard to number iterations average running time.
